smelley whitey,

I just ran across your post, and although it's outdated, I thought I'd drop a comment about your forgetting words. I don't forget words when I learn them, because I have a method. I thought I'd share.

Whenever I learn a new word in a Chinese story, newspaper, or on a website or whatever, in that I can guess what it is while reading it, then look it up and find I'm right, I generally copy that down into a word processor file, then use that file later to print flash cards.

Eventually I use my computer to print these onto flashcards and also have a vocabulary list. I do three things with them at that point:
1. Looking at the back of the flashcard, write the expression once, if I fail to, put it at the back of the deck and try it again.
2. Later in the day, go through the characters on the flashcards
3. Finally, make random sentences with the new word in them

Repeat the process 3 days later, then 1 week after that, 2 weeks, 3 weeks, 6 weeks, 2 months, 4 months, 6 months, 8 months, 1 year.
Psychologists say that reviewing the words in these increasingly expanding intervals is what's necessary to remember the words. I might not see "时光" for another 5 months, but I'd prefer not to forget it anyway. If you do learn a new but infrequent word and not review it, you're likely to forget it because you aren't re-encountering that word frequently enough.

This method is complicated, but it's been found by psychologists to be most effective.

i am a little curious, what do you mean by 打 or 切？

我觉得我应该开始写一个中文博客。我的中文慢地提高，其实每个年比前年好一点点。
----------------------------------------------------
do not need to use 个, in fact you can use "一年比一年好一点点", more smoothly and naturely.

我学中文的大问题是我学新词然后会很快多忘记了。这个情况可能是因为我没有用哪些新词，所以很容易可以忘记了。在这个博客，我该一个星期写三个中文文章，我可以快地提高我中文水平。这些文章的内容肯定很无聊，其实我妈不会看得懂，我可能会水些个有意思的故事。
------------------------------------------------------
水 is replacement of 说, right? 说服 means convincing. and its pronunciation is different from speaking, also 说. but here you should not use 说, maybe you can use 写, write or 说， speaking.

shui 说服
shuo 说话

比如我打死了那个小姐的是猴。我不知道她为什么问我喜不喜欢phil collins，然而我以后需要切她了。
-------------------------------------------------------
is she your lover? 小姐 means miss or chick? she knows pil collins, not bad. maybe you just use those two words, 打, hit and 切, cut.

your chinese is good. :-)

WTF? You beat that hooker to death but she turned out to be a monkey? So not only you are paying for sex, you are paying to have sex with a monkey?!

Pinyin is the devil, use another input.

BTW, you have officially been crowned the nickname "Z's crackhead friend" in the VI.
