Oh shit I new There was something important to post about. And this definitily deserves it’s own post.

I have found the holy grail of crazy asian drinks. Stranger than brids nest tea, lacking the chewyness of orange drink with sacs, even more crazy than grass jelly, and having a more bizare flavor than winter melon tea (which tastes like drinking movie theater butter)… It is the infamous POKARI SWEAT.

Now me and my friend, aaron, (one time he injected himself with homemade cortison, it was awesome), are fairly well versed in the world of Carzy asian Drinks. At least as well as the guys at this Site, and we actually like some of the stuff we drink unlike those bitches. But we have long been searching for the elusive sweat of the Pokari.

As luck would have it I had to travel to the far reaches of the country in order to find and asian food store that carried it. My gradparents knew that I had been to China, so of course they assumed I’d love to go to an asian food market. they assured me that it had “everything chinese in it.”

Being the indulgent grandson that I am, I followed them into the store and stared at the usual assortment of instant noodles, dried seefood and tacky chinese statutes that usaully come with asian grocery stores.

Then I walked past the drink container and a Can with a plain blue and white label caught my eyes. I must have been unconciously waiting for it, because the words “Pokari Sweat” rang through my head.

I quicky grabbed several cans and made my grandpa bye them for me.

I’m waiting for when I meet up with aaron to try it out so I can’t tell you how it tastes, but i will tell you this littel tidbit

Pokari sweat Sodium (mg) 4800
Coke Sodium (mg) 42

hmm the new blogger interface sucks ass, but anyways…

Whats going on, went down to Naples florida, land of the old people. Nice beaches though.

Read the latest Harry Potter book. It was pretty good, a lot darker than the other ones but I like that. Harry potter is a little bitch in the book and it was probably two hunderd pages too long, and the orgy scene was totally unneccessary (or was that the matrix?), but overall it kept me reading.

My favorite TV show is I’m with Busey, that shits brilliant.

The level of political discusion in this country is pitiful. Even in China they have more meaningful debates. Sure the topics are inane but at least they have substantive discussions. I almost wish they had that guy who does crosstalk on CCTV 9 instead of all the Fox news anchors.

I’ve been involved in a lot of weddings lately and its got me thinking about the subject a little bit. it is of course a great hoour to be involved in these things. To be thought of as being a good enough friend to stand at the altar while the wedding happen is realy quite nice. I guess one day I’ll get married, I think it would be nice to settle down one of these days with a nice little wife and fat little children (could that wife be chines you ask? it could happen but I wouldn’t bet on it)

Yet right now, I cant really imagine it. The nicest thing would be that you could split the rent. But I guess I’m still chasing my childhood. i’ve always thought I’ve been about 5 years delayed in my romantic development anyway, so not surprising that it would take a long time for me to get into a big old commitmetn like marriage. But like I said, The institution isn’t so bad in theory.

One thing about weddings is that they seem to encourage me to get drunk and I feel I am getting a little old for these shenaigans. I feel the onset of middle age approaching with increasingly ominous signs. So I figure I got to get my carousing, listening to rap music and wearing unrespectable clothes done with while I can.
