Allright here’s what to think on the US front, (that means Iraq)
just sit back and wait. Shit’s still to confused to be able to make any sense out of it. Things certainly don’t look good for the US what with everybody but the Kurds calling for us to get out, but things could change for the better in a year… Or they could get a lot worse. Just wait and see.
As to the lack of WMDs, eeven I’m a little surprises. I thought that Saddam was conatinable, but I didn’t ecpect him to collapse that easily.
Anyway, except WMDs to be found, but it will just be a small cache of mustard gas or something equally harmless. Despite this, the president will cite this as a huge gain for Christendom, or some other bullshit.
Oh yeah, This is why baghdad feel so quickly. It wasn’t exactly a military victory. The special republican guard was bought off by the americans, no question in my mind. Not that this was a bad thing. whatever it takes to end the war with fewer casualities is a good thing. But it kinda makes all the talk of a agreat military victory, sound kinda empty.
