Allright, so my internet has gone away for the past 3 days. The broadband people here decided to institute a password policy to monitor use more closely or something, but I guess they forgot to send me the password. Some chick called me today and I think I she was talking about my internet and I think she understood that it didn’t work. We’ll see.
Having the internet gone isn’t completly bad as before if I was at home I couldn’t go an hour without at least checking my email. The internet is such a black hole. I gotta move my computer out of my bedroom. But it is the best way to make friends and communtcate with employers and such things. I really want my broadband back. I feel bad using proxies.
Not having internet has helped my chinese because I have nothing else to do at home, (I try to watch CCTV 9 but that just makes me want to punch their idiot “expert” defense analyst in the face). I’ve also been hanging out with this chinese girl whose english is worse than my chinese, so we mostly communicate in chinese. The key to learning a foreign language is clearly cute non-english speaking girls.
We went to a movie last night, Rounders, fricking awesome, and we got there and she asked if we should go upstairs or downstairs, I wanted to check out the balcaony so I said upstairs. She gave me this look and had a little laugh, but went and bought the tickets. It turns out that the upstairs is just for making out. They have two person seats with barriors around them do no one can see what you are doing. But like I said the movie was “Rounders” so she didn’t get any action, I was busy watching the movie.
